What is unusual about this particular stadium is the inclusion of tenants in the healthcare space, such as Brigham Health and Brigham and Women’s/Mass General Health Care Center, Dana Farber Brigham Cancer Center, Mass General Brigham Center for Sports Performance and Research, Mass General for Children, and Spaulding Outpatient Center for Children. While overall Patriot Place visitation may fluctuate YoY based on seasonality factors like games played, visits to the health care center have mostly stayed steady or increased YoY. Including health care centers in mixed-use facilities has many potential advantages, such as access to parking, proximity to retailers and restaurants, lodging availability, and somewhere to go should wait times go long in between medical appointments.
